Identifying Gucci Outlet Items
Many luxury brands sell authentic items at discounted prices through outlet stores and employ traceable indicators to distinguish outlet merchandise from full-price retail items.
These identifiers help the brand track outlet stock and prevent it from being returned or exchanged at regular retail locations, as these items are sold under outlet-specific conditions.

Circular G Stamp
Gucci item's originally sold at outlet stores will contain a circular stamp with a "G" inside as shown by the red box. This is located on the front side of the interior heatstamp label.

Holepunched Tag
Although rare to see, some older authentic Gucci item's originally sold at outlet stores will contain a small circular holepunch in the interior tag as shown by the black box. This holepunch is generally positioned to either the left or right hand side of the label, avoiding contact with the heatstamped text and serial number to either side. This method of distinguishing outlet items has not been employed for many years, and generally is only found on older production bags around the 2000's.

Diagonally Cut Size Tag
Gucci also marks private employee sale items by cutting the lower corner of the size label in a diagonal fashion.
